Why Zané Exists
The creative economy produces enormous cultural and economic value, yet many creatives enter these industries without the knowledge needed to manage ownership rights and long-term finances. As a result, some spend their lives creating work that shapes culture but reach the end of their careers or lives with very little financial security, leaving behind memories of their impact rather than a financial inheritance for their families. Part of this gap lies in the disconnect between the economic value creatives generate through their work and their understanding of how that value is owned, protected and monetized.
Zané focuses on closing this gap through programmes that help creatives and entertainers better understand the industries they participate in and how to build sustainable careers within them.
